“What‘s this literary criticism section? Is it for books that complain about other books?”

This was such a cute mystery! Though the murder was gruesome, the entire book was lighthearted and the characters are amazing. Here‘s to hoping Harrison and Scarlett get together at some point though!

A beautifully cynical story about redefining yourself after the death of a loved one and what death really is and means. Though many of the characters are brash and selfish, they're all oddly likeable in their own way - except for Anse - and weave paradoxical questions into an insane journey.

Gabourey Sidibe is hilarious, insightful, and unbelievably honest. She doesn't compromise herself and doesn't expect others to compromise for her. It also helps to know famous people have the same dating problems I do! 😉

I actually like this better than the television show. But isn't that what we always say about the book? 😉 #thebookisbetter

Parts of the plot were great and I really enjoy the themes of this book, but I never did end up liking Pip.
