A fairly quick read that ended up not being quite as predictable as I first thought.

It starts of slow but picks up rather quickly. You‘re able to form attachments with the characters that leaves you wanting the story to continue.

This book took longer than expected to read. While I found some parts very interesting and engaging there were a lot of parts that left me uninterested. The writing itself is very good, it‘s simply not a book that held my interest.

This will be my second attempt at reading this book. My first attempt was in January 2020. Hopefully with so much free time on my hands due to #quarantine I‘ll be able to focus. As with many readers I thought this book would focus more on the serial killers than the architecture which has made it hard for me to focus when attempting to read this book.

Belle has always been my favorite Disney Princess so when I came across this book I knew I needed to read it. It‘s a well written, engaging book that explores love as a powerful emotion and shows that empathy is important.

This book was frustrating for me to read. I felt as though the entirety of the story was rushed. I would have liked more character and plot development. It felt as though there were many aspects of the storyline that were glossed over. Nonetheless, I‘ll be watching for Kate Baxter to release another book in the series to answer the questions that remain.

This was a fast paced book that kept me enthralled. Bringing in new characters and changing the setting gave a freshness to this series that made me want to keep reading. This book left me with all the right questions to be intrigued enough to want to read the next book.

I couldn‘t put this book down. I throughly enjoyed the new direction this book took. It managed to bring a fresh new storyline to an old storyline and blend them seamlessly. It introduces a new perspective on some prior characters and introduces new characters that fit perfectly in.

For me this book wasn‘t as good as The Warrior Vampire. There were moments that I couldn‘t put the book down but there were also moments where I felt as though the story was rushed. Overall this is appearing to be a good book series.

The second book in the Last True Vampire Series left me wanting more. The story started out slow but as it progressed I was enthralled.

I was gifted 6 books in this series a couple of years ago. With quarantine I have finally been given the opportunity to read these books. For me this book felt slow moving and choppy. It felt as though the story would get going just to come to a grinding halt every couple chapters. The concept is good and I enjoyed it overall but it was slightly frustrating to read.

Agathe laughed. “You think life is the vanquisher of death? It is not. Love is. Life is fragile. Life ends. But Love? Love lives forever,” she told him.
