Omg omg omg... this is really good. Wow
Borrowed this one from my daughter... it‘s a door stop!
Gorgeous blanket in this sweet bookshop in Napier NZ.
Sooo many bookshops!
Up next for book club..... I'm going in totally blind
Gorgeous and well put together book. Great for all skill levels!💜❤️
Started this today. I'm loving it so much. Listening on audio so I'm learning how to pronounce "Hygge".
Just starting to understand.......
Ok.. I decided to not give a fuck if I finished this or not. To be fair I read more than halfway. I would rate this higher if not for the ridiculous amount of times the author used the buzzword, "metric". I mean really it started to drive me crazy. But in general some good advice sprinkled in amongst the fucks and metrics.
This philosophy seems reasonable.
Sadly, I just couldn't finish this. I just could not get into it. I've been trying to catch up on my backlist so I gave this one a go.
Started this little gem today.... who has been using the Libby app? I am loving it. Easier to use than the older overdrive version.
Finally finished this Long book. It was pretty good. I know a lot more about Margaret Tudor & her two sisters. Although..... why is she holding a monkey here in this portrait I have no idea?
Ok . Finished this today. Mixed feelings. I know it is fiction, but this novel sheds light onto an Albert Einstein that is an absolute abomination. And this makes me sad. I am left reflecting on how women can freely get an education and pursue their interests now in a way that Mileva never could.
Finished this today.... I liked it & am looking forward to the next. I won't be able to eat a tuna sandwich now without " Tooter-popkin " going through my head. I enjoyed some of the humor in this one with Rolan's funny vocabulary ?
Ok... I wanted to like this more than I actually did. I thought the way the Harley's story unfolded using the bullet wounds as a narrative technique was interesting, but still not enough for me to stay invested emotionally in the story. It was ok .
I'm going to bail. I just keep drifting off, and can't seem to follow anything. I think I might need to just opt for the film instead.
