My last post, what‘s the definition her graduate students came up with. This is her definition. They are similar and they are both very scary.
Had to take a break from reading my books to read a few recipes on how to bake Old Bay wings. This is my second batch in 2 days and both were successful!!! Now, I am ready to have guests over to enjoy them. I am not a cook. I think this makes the 6th dish I can make - enchiladas, guacamole, crab dip, chocolate covered strawberries that look and taste like a professional made them, and scrambled eggs. I am not a cook, but these are delicious!!!!
This book is going to be an emotional read!! I anticipate my blood pressure will fluctuate with this book.
pick44/52-🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟/5! This is an outstanding book that document historical events that took place during World War II, as well as sharing Dr Madeline Albright‘s family history. She is a brilliant writer and thinker. Above is the last paragraph of the book and I highly recommend reading it!

74% read of this 731 page book! I started it in late April and put it down after 350pages, but today should be the day to finish it! It is a wonderful book about a time in history that is terribly sad, but the stories need to be told and never forgotten.

Dr. Madeline Albright, former Secretary of State, got a D- in geography in 1st grade!!! She improved to a B. I would say she has improved to an AAAAA+ over the years.
Reading this book makes me sad and angry. It is very informative and I wish more people would explore the atrocities of the past, so we don‘t repeat history - but we are repeating it right next now. The media is not the enemy of the state!
Free on kindle today!!! Can‘t wait to read about hippie, counter culture in San Francisco in the 60‘s.

Car‘s still in the shop, didn‘t go to the office, walked to the grocery store for some basics. Now, I hope to read 100 pages of this wonderful book today!
Woke up with a tension headache, had to put my car in the shop because engine light came on, so I called in sick and spending my day watching Netflix and reading.... I am feeling better already.... at least until the mechanic calls😅😅😅
No reading time today because I spent my day in Washington DC being a counter protester - standing up for love and equality and against the alt-right and racism. Everything was peaceful where I was and we outnumbered them by thousands. Education and reading can end ignorance.
I started reading this book in May and stopped around page 350 of 731 pages. I‘m determined to finish reading this book this month. The stories make me sad and angry, but I am learning a lot. He is a brilliant person!

Base-rate neglect - this is a great book!!! I think a lot of people could benefit from reading this.

pick43/52-🌟🌟🌟🌟 - thus us a good book for married couples with children. Lots of great information about equal parenting and flexible work arrangements. I like many aspects of the book, but I am single with kids so much didn‘t really apply to me. As a supervisor, I paid attention to the flexible work and language about treating men and women equal. Not new information, but still interesting.

I am sure at the end of my life, I won‘t be looking back hoping I put more hours in at the office. No matter how much I travel, I am sure I will always will so I had traveled more.
I have always liked the phrase “hope is not a strategy”.
