July turned out to be a bummer for books! 😭 I had been looking forward to Tidal Creatures by Seanan McGuire for AGES and it was wildly disappointing 😰.

Woah, wild to see just how much I've picked up this July! I guess I was really feeling romancey and horror. Probably already in the autumn mood 🍂 I've already started Endless by Devyn Sinclair and I'm really liking it! It's my first real venture into omegaverse romance 😬 and I didn't think I'd like it but color me impressed!

I love that vampires are back! Castle of the Cursed was a really interesting and quick gothic YA book, though it might've been too quick because I would've loved more about characters and the gothic ambiance!

Half a Soul by Olivia Atwater is a very sweet and charming regency romance with just a bit of fantasy involved. The ending was satisfying, despite the small bumps it took to get there. I definitely think this would be a great read for young adult, and clean romance readers, especially those that love historical/regency period pieces.

Boy, was Brooklyn Cupid by Lexi Ray such a bait and switch from what I saw on BookTok and what I got when I read it. This was rough to get through. Tension was nonexistent until the last 30%, pacing was stop and start, and character backstories just made no sense. #bookreview #review #romance

An update on week one of my December #BookSpinBingo since technically, the first week is over! I've started the #audiobook for #FellowshipOfTheRing and have one last #HolidayRomance left to read (which I'll be using as a Free Space.)

Reviews for everything should be coming out soon but I will say it ranges so far from 2.5 stars to a high 4! Any guesses on which one got lowest and highest marks?

Wicked Gods by Michelle Hercules is a great intro to what I hope will be an amazing series. Great start to romance, and full of actual plot with interesting characters. Absolutely recommend!

Asher Black is a good slow burn mafia romance with a leading male that is actually caring from start to finish. A definite recommend for anyone looking for an easy read with sex, romance, angst, yearning, and action.
