Taste of Wrath: A Sin du Jour Affair | Matt Wallace
3 posts | 4 read
With seven books for seven sins, Taste of Wrath is the adrenaline-fuelled final to Matt Wallace's Sin du Jour series, which Chuck Wendig calls "a raucous, riotous tale of culinary madness"! Bronko and his team of crack chefs and kitchen staff have been serving the New York supernatural community for decades. But all that could be about to change. The entity formerly known as Allensworth has been manipulating Bronko and his team from Day One, and the gang at Sin du Jour have had enough. Old debts are called in, and an alliance is formed with the unlikeliest of comrades. Some will die. Some will descend. And some will rise. Sin du Jour Book 1: Envy of Angels Book 2: Lustlocked Book 3: Pride's Spell Book 4: Idle Ingredients Book 5: Greedy Pigs Book 6: Gluttony Bay Book 7: Taste of Wrath At the Publisher's request, this title is being sold without Digital Rights Management Software (DRM) applied.

Oh. My. GOD. I knew that the Sin du Jour series would end with a bang, but I was NOT prepared for just how EPIC that ending would be. Or how hilarious. Or how heartbreaking. *sniffles* Either way, I can't think of any other way this whole series could have ended, and I am so glad I decided to pick it up in the first place.

This final book in the series sees the ultimate battle with the Sin du Jour crew under seige. There's a good featuring of each primary character in the cast and their individual skirmishes suit. As always there is an element of the absurd, with a Council of Chrises (yes...those handsome fellas) and as a Minnesotan it was nice to see a particular Prince ride in to save the day. A deserving end to a great series. Highly recommended!

I'm not crying, you are. What an incredible series, and seriously an amazingly perfect way to end it.

xicanti Your reviews have got me SO eager to continue the series! I read and loved the first one earlier this year. 7y
EllanaRose @xicanti - I think that might be the best compliment I've ever had, thank you! Definitely return to it, now all 7 are out. 7y
