Have a great weekend everyone x
Ready for July #bookspin! After the mood reads of last month, I'm leaving a little more wiggle room this time. Also, I've discovered that the last two 2022 Hugo Award Finalists I have left to read are continuations of series. Currently in catch up mode.
Cheers to a month of sunshine and good reads!

My July #bookspin list. I pretty much already have my reading chosen for the rest of the summer - I‘m headed to France with a friend in September, so I want to read books set in the places we will be visiting, plus a buddy read or two on a few vacations coming up. But, I‘m participating anyway. Maybe one or two of my planned reads will end up being a bookspin choice, and if not, I‘ll get to them once I‘ve finished my current reading list. ❤️📚
Another month, another exciting list of books to tackle! As always, we'll see how much I stick to the list and how much I stray. 🤣

Phoebe has claimed my package and it is hers now! Can‘t wait to see what we got!!! 🤣😁❤️ #sliceofsummer #SOS
I am on vacation this week. I finally figured what what I want to read this week so I could finally make my #bookspinbingo list. Can‘t wait for tomorrow. Thanks again for putting this together every month Sarah!
My very messy shelf of books for #bookspin and #bookspinbingo for July! They are in stacks that make sense to only me but that‘s all that matters right. 🤣 I need to get my TBR shelf cleared off a little this month!

"If I concentrate when it's late, I can hear the ocean. Or at least, I think I can. I close my eyes, stroking the seashell pendant at my collar. I long to experience the ocean. All year round, I hear and feel it's call in the whoosh of the waves."
I loved the book about the mermaid and how she found out she was one. The ending also made me cry.
So update on the calf the meds didn't work he ended up passing away last night just found out.. I wasn't home due to medical stuff 3 hours away and wasn't well enough when I got home to go check on him 😭 so sad...
Winston is great at helping me choose books. 🐶 The cart is full of picks for my Blind Date packages!

🍁 I took this last fall at the Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge in Seattle.
🍃 I find walks among the trees to be calming and refreshing.
Thank you for the tag! @MoonWitch94

This photo was taken in the last night of our holiday in Shanklin. Paul, the girls and I stayed up in the beach to watch the sun set 🌅
1. I‘ve been really trying to read something new off of my bookshelf. Pretty much a roll of the dice.
2. I usually rate something based on how much it sucks me in. Is it one I couldn‘t put down? Were there any amazing twists? Did it flow well?
3. Today and every day I‘m grateful that after 7 years of trying, we have a baby boy due in December.

Ahh, I did it! I opened the Etsy shop. 😀 I'm nervous, but I'm sharing here in the hopes that maybe you'll share the link to help support a fellow Litten's side hustle. 🤗 💕 Anything I make will go straight to student loans and buying things for my own students.
Here's the listing: https://tinyurl.com/5n99zavd
Thank you!!
Hey All,
Sorry for the info dump. I am almost caught up. I should just have 3 books I need to finish tonight and 2 I DNFed.
Also i don't want anyone to think I have not been thinking about the #BBRC. I have. The new list was posted to The Story Graph earlier today. The new list is here and I will post more info tomorrow and start to post my results soon

I‘m thinking about joining Book of the Month. I feel like lately the books have looked tempting and it could be a fun thing to look forward to each month! Does anyone have a code they want me to use that benefits you? 😉 Otherwise I can totally sign up on my own, but I‘d be happy to help a fellow Litten if I can.
Update: I signed up for #botm (thanks @Graciouswarriorprincess !) and my first book will be the Gabrielle Zevin one! Yay!
#wondrouswednesday
🪸 I have no system, I look at the covers, read a few blurbs and see what mood I‘m in!
🐠 Did I want to keep reading? Did I connect with the characters? Should it be read by everyone?
🐢 My kitchen actually arriving! The plaster is dry!
#WondrousWednesday @Eggs Thanks for the tag!
1. I‘m reading books on my shelf that I have already chosen to read.
2. In order to make my shelf, my books need to have a 4 star rating before they hit my shelf. Sometimes my rating is higher or lower based on the book after I have read it!
3. I am grateful for all the books on my shelf!
Can you play? @PaperbackPirate @Karkar @myellenbee @swishandflick @Ddzmini
*Hypothetical* question...if I started an Etsy shop where you gave me a little bit of info and I sent you a hand-selected "blind date" book with fun goodies like stickers and bookmarks, is that something you'd be interested in?
Hypothetically, of course. I'm totally not getting some books ready to ship as I type this so I can start a side hustle to supplement my meager teaching salary or anything like that. ?
Updated list for July.
My #bookspin book was _Promise of Summer_ by Louisa Rawlings, which was enjoyable in an old skool romance way.
#doublespin was _the Iron Hunt_ by Marjorie Liu, chosen by random number generator from my library wish list, and I just wasn't in the mood for it and DNF'd. I'm not the big on urban fantasy.
I did read an extra book from my list, _Beautiful Mornin'_, which is one I owned and am happy to get off the shelf!
So this is my list for #BookSpin, #DoubleSpin and #BookSpinBingo
Books 1 - 7 are buddy reads happening here on Litsy in July.
Books 8 - 17, maybe even 18 are potential reads for #foodandlit #France
I own most of these books and some have even been on my tbr longer than I like to think about.
Here is my #bookspin list for July! We have a family book club going this summer plus a new round of #lmpbc so I have those must-read books down twice. Hoping for a bookful month! @TheAromaofBooks #bookspinbingo
#20in4 #Readathon

Read The Girl With a Clock For a Heart - 304 Pgs

Read River Rising - 304 Pgs
Total Read - 1,197 Pgs
For all my #HauntedHollowSwap & #BasicWitchSwap peeps & everyone else ready for the bestest season. 🎃👻🖤🦇
Sorry I‘ve been MIA lately. I‘m moving back to the U.S. next month so lots going on here to prepare. And so I might not always catch a tag. If you need me, please email me (lynn@wanderinglynn.com) or WhatsApp me. 😀💜
I love people telling me what to read! Sometimes I can accept it and sometimes I can‘t. 🤣
