From the writer of, Chew. Basically, it's an R-rated Star Trek story. Heavy scifi exploration with a strong dose of occultish horror overtones. The lore of the world is really friggen good, unfortunately, I hated pretty much all of the characters. It would have been a 4 star book for me if I could have found even 1 person to care about or root for.
