This book is a memoir with threads of academic philosophic discourse woven through. Interesting structure, but it just isn‘t working for me. The audio is read by the author with a bit of a choppy cadence (though the timbre of his voice is lovely), and that‘s part of the problem, but the main issue for me, I think, is that philosophy makes me go a little cross-eyed. I think this is quite a good book, just not for this reader.
