pickThis cover made choose this romantic suspense book from HQN‘s Love Inspired line—my first romantic suspense. It was good, with kidnapping and pursuit of murderers against the backdrop of a sweet romance. I like these characters a lot, although I‘m bummed to find they star in three books written previous to this one. I‘d have liked to read them in order, but these connected books aren‘t tagged anywhere as a series. Still, I enjoyed. A quick read.
