This was a very sad story. And I do have a bit of a bias with this story. Back in the early 1970's, when I was a wee bairn, the church my family belonged to sponsored a refugee family from Vietnam. The children became my classmates. One of the kids eventually went on to become one of the newsreaders at one of the local TV stations. Diversity and helping others makes everyone's life better.

I just started this while I was in my car waiting for work to start. I saved this from the discard pile at a school library where I used to work. It is about a family trying to escape from Vietnam Nam after the war.
