A day late for my #5JoysFriday post due to a very busy end to an already busy week, but there was joy:

1. I‘m irrationally obsessed with both the trout print & pigeon sticker from (my favorite) Blue House Mail Club. Joyful mail!💙💌💙

2. The bun is a bit smashed but this was a delicious burger & fries enjoyed with a balcony sunset view (see my “gloaming” haiku a few posts back for the view.💛😋

3. Hearty breakfast with a view before starting ⬇️

Another Saturday edition of joys:

💛 A few new to me jars and dishes from my grandparents‘ house
💛 Trying out some new math activities with my classes
💛 The pets! They‘re all getting a little snugglier as the weather cools.
💛 Friday night pizza and football
💛 A Saturday with nowhere to go

1. The Blue Wave. 💙🌊💙🌊💙 Hoping for an even bigger one next year!
2. Our temps didn't hit above 90 degrees. Grateful for small mercies.
3. Survived the following in one day: a Pippa episode, a Covid vaccine, a flu vaccine, a fall in my house which led to an ambulance ride to the local hospital and a couple of staples in the noggin. Plus shot #3: a tetanus one. Fun day.

1️⃣ Tuesday was AMAZING! 🌊💙 The Dems showed up!! 2️⃣ Started my IRL bookclub book and I‘m loving it! 3️⃣ Coffee & Wine ☕️🍷4️⃣ My parents came in for a quick visit, it was so nice seeing them and we had homemade lasagna that my Mom brought 😍5️⃣ The view outside my home office window 😍🍂🍁
