Figured it was about time to work through my Penguin 'Little Black Classics', considering I've had them for years and barely read half of them 😬 (They've made even more of them since I bought these too)
That said, I liked this collection. It was surprisingly open minded in the title story, where lesbians were at once the villains and not. Where they were both reviled and embraced...

pickFour short stories of Parisian life from a master of the medium. I've read Maupassant before, but these were new to me.
pickReally enjoyed this collection of short stories and will definitely pick more of his up. There was a good mix and some of humour was far more raunchy than I would have expected, all in all, a very good time!
