so-so
In December of 1926 Agatha Christie disappeared for 11 days. When she was found she claimed she had amnesia. Others were skeptical. Did she do it for publicity or was she trying to punish her cheating husband? Nobody ever found out for sure. In this fictional novel a therapist takes on the case and solves it. He sits with Agatha and by a series of questions and putting her under hypnosis gets the answers. The book was ok, dragged a little.
CrowCAH Interesting I never knew. 8y
mabell Interestingly, I don't believe Agatha ever really discussed that time - only a small reference in her autobiography. Of course it was such a sad time in her life. The disappearance remains a real life mystery! 8y
Rachbb3 @CrowCAH @mabell I know, it was her own personal mystery that was never solved. Irony! 8y

Andrew65 This is one of the greatest mysteries of all. 8y
Mariposa_Bookworm I personally like the Doctor Who version of events where she is stuck in a manor house with a human bumblebee. 8y
Books-and-coffee @Mariposa_Bookworm I loved that episode and that was my first thought when I saw this lol! 8y
Rachbb3 @Mariposa_Bookworm @Books-and-coffee I'm going to have to see that! Lol. 8y
Mariposa_Bookworm @Rachbb3 @Books-and-coffee It is an episode with my favorite doctor, David Tennant and my favorite companion, Donna Noble (though if you count Donna's Grandpa Wilfred as a companion, they would tie.) 🤓 8y
