Can't flip the image around, because Litsy on the web is quite glitch-y! I'm in tears that this book has ended, I wish it went on forever!

#BOOKNOTE @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks was reading this stunning book about a bunch of literary Edwardians and how they tried to lead their love lives in a way that felt true to the liberalism of the times, and the difficulties and heart breaks they faced.Thoughtful, insightful, moving. In a complete coincidence,BBC radio played this song the morning I started readingand it fit so perfectly, for a new generation, same problems

Beautiful setting for reading....

But I didn't love this book, despite really wanting to. I love reading about the Bloomsbury set (Vanessa and Virginia is a great read!); but this was skimpy on details and not great at discussing queer relationships...
A nice relaxing "dip in" read, but only 3/5.
