The Garden of Vegan
The Garden of Vegan: How It All Vegan Again! | Sarah Kramer, Tanya Barnard
1 post | 3 read | 1 to read
When How It All Vegan! first appeared in 1999, the authors were hailed for their fun and outlandish approach to vegan cooking. Six printings and 40,000 copies later, this second volume picks up where the first book left off with truly delectable, truly original recipes that manage to leave the animal products (including butter, milk, cheese and honey) where they belong, with their natural owners. These dishes are fun and easy to prepare and delicious to eat, whether your a full-time vegan or just interested in creating fabulous animal-free meals. Two-colour throughout.

Pickpick

Two simply yummy vegan cookbooks. These ladies know how to put the sizzle in animal-free eating with hearty, simple, and utterly satisfying meals. For people who hesitate to cook vegan food these books will help you be instantly successful. I‘m starting to think about preparing a vegan (American) Thanksgiving and both of these books provide wonderful options. Additionally, the authors are Canadian so I‘m extra happy! 🇨🇦

Chrissyreadit What is your favorite recipe from these books? 4y
Come-read-with-me @Chrissyreadit Is it cheating to say all of them??? In HIAV it‘s Classic Spinich Lasagna and creamy coconut pie. In GoV Sarah Haamer‘s Stuffed Mushrooms and Portobello Mushroom Bake. And then on page 2 I like........ 🤣 Thanks for asking! 4y
