Mehso-so

I've been why I have it a soso rather than thumbs up.
Here is my conclusion:
The plus side has been the research and the first hand accounts from the people that were there.
But a more satisfactory book would have fully answered or left fewer unswered questions.
eg:
Impact of the war on Auschwitz
Impact of Auschwitz on the war
Immediate treatment of survivors by liberating forces
Compare & contrast this treatment by Red Army and Western allies

An important subject. he has a journalists eye for a good phrase.
However I felt it could have done with more conceptual analysis

It's a Sunday. Work tomorrow - which for the first time in a long long time I am not looking forward too.
This is the kind of book which puts your own problems into perspective

Paper Hearts is a tragic fictional story (although based on a true story) about a group of girls in Auschwitz. Auschwitz (the book) takes a detailed look inside this concentration camp.
