I really felt for Quinn‘s children, Hannah and Jack whose lives had been difficult growing up in such a home, but knowing their mother loved them. I detested Alec, which is a credit to McGarvey Black‘s writing….I read this thriller in one sitting as I was totally engrossed and could not put it down…..I‘ll never look at an empty swing in the same way again…..haunting!
