🌹 I have two that I loved & still own the copies I had as a child nearly 50 years ago. 1) Snow Treasure. 2) The Ghost of Dibble Hollow. They were great escapes from my life. I‘m still an escapist reader when it comes to fiction.
🌺 🌺 Kaz Brekker from Six of Crows, but mostly because when one of his plans is dashed, it doesn‘t take him long to come up with another. He never quits. I resonate with that.

1- The Mud Pony by Caron Lee Cohen. To this day, it remains a favorite.
#themudponyreviewedbyanncrystal
2- I have a strange connection with Bruce Wayne. I don't know why, I just understand his character. I would have said Batman in the past, but it is Bruce Wayne's Batman that I understand.

💙 Tuck Everlasting was a book that really stuck with me as a kid. I loved the plot. The book made me think. I still re-read this book and love it every time.
💙 There are parts of Marigold from Magic for Marigold that remind me of myself as a child.
💙 I most recently finished The Line of Beauty. 3.75 stars It started and ended strong, but was a bit of a slog in the middle.

2. I do like to do reviews occasionally, especially when a book hits me. I do them at NetGalley to get ARC :) and also will do them on GR, add them to Amazon for NetGalley books, mention best loved books on Instagram. I love spreading book joy as much as possible. 📚
