so-soReading some more of kiddo‘s favorites. Cute stories, vivid characterizations.
What throws me about this series (and kiddo, too) is how drama-oriented it is. Lots of crushes, frenemies, stuff that I associate with middle school years. But this is MG, and I guess I‘m struggling with reading level vs interest level and appropriateness. As long as kiddo can appreciate the adventures we‘re good, but I hate the reminders of stupid pre-teen drama. 🙄
