I was 13, my family had a new baby and was renting a cabin with shelves of books, and I found this one. I read it very closely. (How's that for an interpretation of "adult," @Liberty ) I was feeling nostalgic and requested it via paperbackswap a few years ago, only to find I remembered a lot of it.
