pickA neat and fun, adventurous, quaint combination of vintage science fiction and fantasy. It reminded me of Lord of the Rings, Earthsea, with elements of Star Trek themes (though probably written before it) like research of less advanced societies and planets, and policy similar to Starfleet's Prime Directive noninterference. Best of both worlds/genres. So we get some discussion of ethics and what to do or how to consider once broken. Conceptual.
