pickFans of the movie will not be disappointed! Mann and Gardiner do an excellent job maintaining the original feel of the film while making a story that can stand on it‘s own. Even if you‘ve never seen the movie, if you‘re a fan of crime, heist, detective fiction then Heat 2 is still a worthwhile read. In fact, skip the prologue, go blind into the book, then watch the film. I can almost guarantee it will improve your appreciation of both!
