Mehso-so

I'm still not sure how I feel about this one. The main character is a hypocrit - she lives in fear of being judged on her weight, yet she is the first one to judge others harshly on their physical appearance. As much as I disliked her, I couldn't stop reading!

Pickpick

Another galley from my initial NetGalley request spree... this one was originally published in 2005 and rereleased last summer.

There‘s nothing earth-shattering about this book, but it‘s very funny and Maggie is a relatable, if sometimes whiny (again, relatable!) character, even if the plot is a little out there at times. A sweet, snarky contemporary with some interesting supporting characters and a nice little bit of romance.

⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2
