Vivi Conway and the Sword of Legend | 
pickVivi Conway is a grumpy autistic girl who knows enough about myths, legends and magic to not be surprised when a lake starts calling her, but is still rather displeased to learn she's been chosen by ancient powers to save the world.
Delightful characters, plot engaging and a bit scary (peril of the more-than-mild kind) and I laughed out loud multiple times. A++++ will read again, buy it for the kids in your life and treat yoself too.
