I grabbed After Dark to read because I was looking for a good story with ghosts and the like. This book sounded perfect but unfortunately the ā€ghostsā€ in it were not really exciting at all. What was interesting was this alternate world and the powers the inhabitants possessed. The romance was more of a slow burn and I did like the main characters. Overall, After Dark was not what I was initially looking for but it was intriguing in the end.
