Cuilin Oh I‘m “enjoying” it. So many people have said it‘s very depressing, but Goodreads describes it as a “tribute to hope and inner strength”. I‘ll continue. For now anyway. Plus, I plan on reading the Grapes of Wrath, in Nov with the #HashBrigade. Same time period, correct? 9h
dabbe @Cuilin Yep. The Joads in that book are like Livie's family; they move west to get out of the dust. 8h
