pickThe latest issue goes deeper into the strange prehistoric-like world the girls end up in. There's cultural references, parallels to biblical tales, and the usual awkward experiences of being a middle school aged girl. That's what I love about Brian K. Vaughan's work. While the extraordinary circumstances of the plot go on, the characters remain very human with a range of experiences and emotions that are complex and relatable. #insomniareads
