Light, easy fun read

I wanted to love this. The plot involves a mermaid and a prostitution so you would think it would be fun and weird but it‘s actually slow, beautifully written and kind of mesmerising. There are some very slow parts, bordering on dull and I had to take a break from it but it came good in the end.

This one was hard work at first, but worth it. Very strange, but funny and moving once you can get past the strangeness. I loved it.

Awesome geeky fun

There's a lot of hype around this book so my expectations were probably a little high. The writing was mostly good but not great and the plot twist was kind of obvious. But I liked it anyway, not sure why...
