Book 74/100.
Set in Voss, Norway the descriptions are beautiful. Maureen comes home from New York City as her father is dying to take over the family farm. Alex, a billionaire is escaping New York City from a girlfriend who is stalking him & the crazy media frenzy created by this to his family estate in Voss. The story between Maureen and Alex is funny & sweet. I loved the several twists in the story which were very believable.

My five this week are:
1. All the birthday wishes still coming in from friends.
2. Surprise book mail.
3. Fixing my car when the check engine light came on by myself and it wasn‘t even $50!
4. Two days off in a row which is unusual for me working my full time library job, my part time and working on my MLIS degree.
5. Seeing the eclipse which was 85% here in NC.
Crissy Dowling channels Princess Diana in her one-woman cabaret.
Her younger sister, Betsy, also has the Diana look, but she is a social worker in their home state of Vermont. There‘s no wasted space in this novel, which clips on powered by the compelling sisters, their strange situation, & Marisa, the adopted thirteen year old . The denoument is surprising and makes perfect sense, and the road there is satisfyingly twisty.
Book 71/100.
Another win for Jenn McKinlay! Love at First Book is a delightful romance. I loved Kier & Em. It explores authors, writing, and books set in a small Irish town with characters that will pull at your heart strings! I found myself loving these characters, laughing and crying tears with them. This story is so tender hearted, a perfect curl up in a favorite chair with a cozy blanket & a favorite drink.

WOW! I am so excited to be invited back to be part of the @macmillan.audio influencers team. This is my second year to be part of this amazing team.
I have listened to many wonderful books through this program. As you all know, I always have three books going at the same time and one is always an audiobook.
This sweet story between Graham and Elinora starts when they were 16 and goes into their 30s. Both Graham and Elinora have a spark that never ends even though they both had to overcome obstacles, family and career choices.
I loved their banter and at times the disappointments and anger however I felt this added to the realism of their story.
This is a sweet love story and I loved how it ended.
Book 69/100 of the year.

This started slow but then I didn‘t want to put it down. The cast of characters are endearing while the story makes you think about walking into someone else‘s shoes and how we should treat each other while what is important in life.
Book 62/100 of the year.
I have been reading the Coffee Loft series since January. The books are centered around the Coffee Loft franchise and are all sweet rom-cons. I‘ve discovered many new authors and one sent me her book in this series.
Many thanks to @kimberley.montpetit for this book!
I discovered this fun reading challenge in December by @theuncorkedlibrarian .
I completed the first quarter and decided to read the entire card instead of just doing bingo.
Reading challenges enrich my reading by enlisting new genres, authors and books to me.
QOTD: Do you engage in reading challenges?
I loved this story. It was the perfect combination of creeping horror, dark humor, & suspense. I loved the characters & the atmosphere in equal measure, and the story managed to be believable in the end.
The creeping horror of the hares & the atmosphere created by the crumbling manor house surrounded by the pitting man against nature made for the best setting for a horror story. The characters' personalities shone through.
Book 61/100.
New Year‘s Kindle Challenge completed.
Check your Dollar Tree stores. I picked these up today for my little free library.
Meeting the amazing @ChrisBohjalian and Sarah McCoy! Both of these books are must reads!!
I‘m honored tonight to see these two amazing authors @chrisbohjalian and @sarahmmccoy tonight at @quailridgebooks .
Chris is currently touring with his 24th book, “The Princess of Las Vegas”.
Diving into my latest edition of Oh Reader magazine. I love this quarterly #bookish magazine. This is one of my favorite treats to myself.

Thanks @kensingtonbooks for making my day and introducing me to some cozy mystery writers!
This is a cute young adult novel about two good friends who realize their feelings for each other over a summer together in NYC.
This book dives into the tropes of friends to lovers, found family, and summer romance, as well as coming of age. The part that made me tear up was how all of our stories are connected, a larger, moving story that gives them all one important thing in common: the need to love and to be loved.
Book 55/100.
I found this fun, plant based clean nail polishes today. Being a Disney girl, I needed them but especially love the Belle one with the books and pink is my favorite color.
I love meeting new authors and @kerryevelynbooks is a real sweetheart. @barkingmadaboutreading introduced me to her and the Coffee Loft series. I just love these sweet romance books however I especially adored Kerry‘s book, “That Thing You Brew”.
I received #bookmail from her today and it is the cutest little package! Thanks @kerryevelynbooks for making this rainy, grey day bright!
Stella Griffin has broken up with her boyfriend three weeks before prom. Stella does NOT believe in fairy tales, so she is shocked when she somehow ends up in one, with the waiter who saw the breakup. Stella & Reece must work together to find a way home without disrupting the story they‘ve stumbled into. This is a frenemy to sweethearts tale and was a cute retelling of Sleeping Beauty.
Book 54/100 of the year.
That Thing You Brew is such a sweet romance between tough hockey player Xavier who happens to be a barron after his OPA passes away & the stuttering brewer of his lucky coffee, Penny. This sweet love story is like a freshly brewed cup of coffee-just right and so needed in the world today! I laughed, cried & routed for Xavier and Penny all the way! These two characters will stick with me as will the story.
Book 51 of the year.
As I sitting here doing homework, my door bell rang. The UPS driver handed me this box from @booksparks .
OMG….I just adore this little book vase! It is the cutest book accessory that I have seen!! And those colors are so me as I am a pink girl!!
The book darts are amazing as well as I dislike writing in books and often use post it notes to annotate.
Many thanks to @booksparks for this lovely surprise package!
