Pickpick

THE LONGBOW HUNTERS is one of those comics that's accessible to the new reader but feels like it'd be a lot richer for people who already know the characters inside and out. I belong to the former camp, so while I enjoyed this I'll look forward to rereading it when I've steeped myself in Green Arrow comics.

Anyone have any recs for which run I should read next? Is the New 52 series a good jumping on point?

Today's outdoor reading selections include theatre history and classic comics. I've got a bit more EXCALIBUR in the mix, too. #outdoorreading

Mehso-so

Read this out of curiosity more than anything else. I've watched most of ARROW, but never read a GA comic until now. Interesting overall, though not the most gripping storyline. Shado makes an appearance as a totally different character from the show. Oliver is 45 and going through a midlife crisis. Heros doing the hero thing. "Olds" being olds.

Unless you're a big fan, check it out at a library.
