Pickpick

Second Asher Lev book that provides insights in the adult Asher Lev with flashbacks of the years between the two books. I very much enjoyed again the contrast of his spiritual life and his life as an artist from a perspective of a husband, father and son.

The Gift of Asher Leg is the second part of Asher's story. These two novels are a beautiful reflection on creativity, purpose, community, and individuality.

Mehso-so

I loved #mynameisasherlev. The characters are so three dimensional you think maybe you are reading non-fiction. And this book gives you the chance to live with the characters a little longer. But it's not as good as the first one. I also have a lot of questions about Hasidism now.
