I always knew this was never going to be an easy read,it‘s sat on the shelf for a very long time. Remembering the stories of the Jersey children‘s home on the news reading Robbie‘s story was more awful than I imagined. Although I can‘t shake the nauseous feeling I do think it‘s important their voices are heard and the amazing courage they all showed needs to be praised.
One moment I won‘t forget is the tears of joy I shared during sports day ❤️

I loved and hated this book at the same time. The topic is so disheartening, but written in a way that I couldn't put it down! I'd definitely say prepare yourself mentally before reading this book. It's a whirlwind of emotions about a sad topic.
