pickNot as much fun at the first two, but introduced a lot of new and interesting characters as well as real politic into this fantasy world at war.
The 4th eldest sister tries to be recognized as an adult and makes some stupid decisions while trying to help her sister the queen build an alliance with two other queens who might bring blood and war to their doorstep.
3/5 read for dragons as well as centaurs but less bloody battles
so-soIt took me a while to get into it and once I did I found that I was still feeling the same from the previous book which is that the love triangle is odd.
The overall story was ok and I'm glad to have read this trilogy years after it was published to be able to read them in a close enough time frame that I knew the characters and world building but it felt less magical for me this time.

pickThis is a cute read about a first crush and friendship, both online and IRL, with plenty of reminders about responsible online behavior. Ingrid is 13 and much more comfortable in her online persona than in the real world of middle school. I had to suspend disbelief a bit to follow Ingrid in her lack of realization, but it was a sweet story. This is MG but also on the edge of YA in its focus on relationships.
