🥰 My first paying gig as a musician was with the Columbus Junior Theater, performing A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, the summer between sophomore and junior years of high school. The next year, CJT became Columbus Children‘s Theater, and that summer I played for their production of The Mystery of Edwin Drood. I LOVED playing for CJT/CCT!
A solid and overall fun historical romance with a considerable amount of steam. I am interested in checking out more by this author. 3.5⭐️

So happy to have finally delved into this, the Frank Quinn series🤗 I loved all the characters, even the dislikable ones & the plot just getting thicker & thicker😏 Highly recommended!📚🤓
Reading in bed while home sick from work, and somehow my furry companion always knows when his company is the comfort I need.

I am enjoying this series. There a nice mix of serious issues alongside romance and humour, with a nice mix of likeable characters.

I started this one yesterday and already finished it. I should‘ve known that would happen. I‘ve read several books by St. James, and it‘s always the same, I just can‘t put these books down. The mystery was intriguing, and once it was solved, utterly tragic. The romance was enticing, and I loved the friendship that formed with the MC and another character. Descriptive and well-written, as usual, with likable but realistically-flawed characters.
