Mehso-so

Another book from my TBR list and I for one am happy to check this off.

I wish there was more of Sebastian moments. I feel that really could have helped his character's arc from rake to husband of convenience to caring and loving at the end because while I enjoyed the book, I just didn't really fall for it but I had moments were maybe with a little more something, I could have.

A great summery read of two people who are right for each other but seemingly meet at the wrong time in their lives. Emma and Justin plan to date and breakup but somewhere in the weeks of dating, they really connect. Justin is such a caring man whose love language is acts of kindness from bringing her lunch and caring for her when she is sick. I just loved him! This was my April #BOTM pick and it was a winner.

Between pick and so-so. I loved Rosie‘s introversion and bookishness, and the bittersweetness that comes with losing her mom so recently. Poston has written many books and more than 2 series. I‘ve read 1 and 2-now on to 3.

Not gonna lie, I want to plan a Read-A-Thon. Love when readers become authors who write about books & librarians and simply nail all-the-parts. Oh, and there's a romance story inside this title, too. 🤣

There's a dream-like quality to this book and its prose that was just breathtaking, and also quite unsettling at many points. I think Link is really good, too, at writing young people in a way that feels alive and real. Would love to talk in depth about this book with someone smarter than me.

I can‘t decide if I enjoyed or am frustrated by the way the book leaves certain things open to inference & interpretation.
Looking forward to discussing that ending tomorrow with #hashtagbrigade !!

Ruthiella I love how it starts with the ending and you have to rethink everything when you get to the end-end. 4h

Here's my #BookSpin list for May. I'm switching to books from my physical TBR thanks to the possibility of moving back to Texas sometime next year. I won't know until sometime in June this year, but I need to reduce the number of physical books I own regardless. @TheAromaOfBooks

Just finished #Gilded a retelling of Rumpelstiltskin and I looooved it! 🥰 On to second part #Cursed. I am also on book 46 of my goal of 143 books to read in 2024! 🙂♥️🧵👑 143 means I love you. 💕
