so-soI've read almost every one of Klosterman's books, and he writes about music in just about all of them. However, I didn't particularly enjoy the two books where he writes about nothing BUT music, and this one of those two (the other one being Killing Yourself to Live).

This book has been out since 2007. I am highly embarrassed to admit that I somehow never noticed until now that the cow is supposed to look like Kiss. It's scary. It makes me wonder what else I go through life not noticing.
Once you're shackled with the perception of ignorance, you can never again comment on anything controversial without getting nailed by everyone who lacks a sense of humor (or wants to punish you for having one).
