The first two-thirds feel like a hint at long term tension coming to a head, satisfying fandom need to see the Robins (potential Bats) and their disparate styles 'have it out', but I wanted more in-depth debate and demonstration of leadership/skill than action sequences. The last unnecessary third of this volume felt lackluster. The overdramatic intros...and the art is just not my fave. A subjective problem, admittedly. 💁🏼♂️

The art in this baby is such a treat! I was very happy to see so many obscure villains I hadn't heard of, granted I'm admitting I'm new to the batman graphic novel universe, as well as plenty of familiar favorites. It would have been better if some "other" favorites showed up but hay I can't be greedy #batman
