Donna_sBookMinute This seems like a great follow-up to Davis' "Freedom is a Constant Struggle." Welcome to Litsy!!! ?? 8y
ProfMasala I've been reading black women that predate and have influenced the voices of black women like Davis. It's hard to find print books (out of print, etc) for many of the black women but it's been very affirming. 8y

In describing the current participation of black women in the feminist struggle as a recent development or in describing black women merely as objects of discrimination in the woman‘s movement or in neglecting the participation of black women entirely, these feminist writers grossly distort reality.
