I started this one immediately after reading the first book in the series, and I think I liked this one even more. As soon as I finished it I started the third book.

My second in the series. Really not impressed. Main character is too gruff. Think this is the end of my time with J P.

This book was short. Fast read. Still had plenty of substance. I liked the first book in the series better.

Sometimes you have an unlikable main character but the book is still great. I hope that happens here because so far Beaumont is a total cad. I'm looking for a mystery, not a guy who sleeps around.
