Pack Up the Moon | Kristan Higgins

This was a gut punch of a book! Love, loss, and grief is explored from multiple family perspectives when a young woman and new bride dies of a terminal illness. So many beautiful parts of this story, really had me thinking about life, blessings, and how we show up for the people we love. All the CW about death, but if you are in the right place for this one, it is amazing. #audio #BookspinBingo This fave me my 4th #bingo @TheAromaofBooks

What an epic story! This beautiful novel spans multiple generations and brought to life so many memorable characters. I loved it! I‘ve owned it in hardback forever but finally listened on #audio and it was lovely. Deeply thoughtful, honest, and with gorgeous prose, I‘ll be thinking of this one for a long time! #chunkster #BookspinBingo

Finding Me: A Memoir | Viola Davis

This book was powerful, painful, and brilliant. Viola Davis is a treasure and her story is heartbreaking, resilient and, ultimately transcendent. Gorgeous on #audio, read by the author, I highly recommend this one!

#LittensLoveRomance It was a tight race as usual, but our October Read has been selected! I personally love Sarah MacLean and this is one of her first novels. Hopefully that makes it easy to get from your libraries. I‘ll post a reading schedule closer to the end of the month for those who want to follow along. Thanks to all who voted!

So I downloaded this book on Audible for my next #AudioCommute . At the time, I didn't think we would hit a bookstore in time to purchase one and didn't want to “wait,“ but then we went to a bookstore. Ha! This will be a hybrid #Audio / Print type of reading. Audible clocks it at 24 hours. But I am told you get “carried away“ in it, so ... it might be very good to use it while doing chores and stuff.

I'm Glad My Mom Died | Jennette McCurdy

A raw , spare, heartbreaking book of mental, physical and sexual abuse by an over the top stage mom. McCurdy is a talented storyteller and is so brave to share her story with the word. Really powerful on #audio as read by the author, you could hear her break up at times 😢

This one had some mixed reviews, but I found it rather entertaining. I didn't see the twists to expect. Also, having to rely mostly on #Audio lately, its been good to get lost in a book with a good narrator.

My baby, Conor being such a good boy at his Vet appointment. #DogsOfLitsy

This was okay but fell a little short for me. It had a lots of elements I really liked but the pace felt too rushed for me and I needed a little more depth from the characters. I may give her another try with book 2. It may also have been that I #listened on #audio. #authoramonth @Soubhiville #BookspinBingo @TheAromaofBooks

TheAromaofBooks Woohoo!! I really enjoyed this one, but I kind of like info-dumping-ish books haha I haven't read the second yet... I kind of wanted to wait until the third one came out and then read them all together! 1mo
