Pickpick

This book is still extremely relevant to what's going on in the world. The author was a collegiate athlete and eventual professor who led a protest at his college and led the protest against Black athletes participating in the 1968 Mexico City Olympics. Really interesting look at racial discrimination in sports. Definitely recommend it. Would have loved if it included more info about whats going on now...

Just started this in the morning. It's an updated 50th Anniversary edition that I snagged from Netgalley. It honestly isnt hard to believe that athletes have had to "revolt" throughout the history of sports. Not hard to believe at all in the world we live in now...

BestOfFates Looks so good, can't wait to hear about it! 7y
