I wanted to like this book so badly but... couldn't. I loved the idea - moles as the main characters, and their quest for personal&spiritual discovery - but it was just problematic for me.

I couldn't engage with the characters because of how they were written, and there was just so much going on I couldn't keep up... and no reprieve either; it was just one horrible event after another.

Not for me at all.
