Pickpick

I honestly had NO idea this book was written for teens when I got it. All I knew was I HAD to have it because there‘s a part in the novel I‘m writing that focuses on poor children in a Dickensian London-type setting. Written for younger readers or not, this book is a MUST HAVE for all fans of Dickens & those interested in his era. Profound, & eye opening. I actually learned quite a bit from it & reminded me just WHY Dickens is my inspiration ♥️

This is a fasinating look at Charle Dickens. It talks about some of the great things he did and just how much he influenced the people of his time. It also mentions other figures and how they influenced society and Dickens. This is a great book for people interested in the author. It would be great for middle grades and up.
