Look, you‘re either a person who wants to read 700 pages about JP or you‘re not. Trouble is, if you are, this probably isn‘t the first book you‘ve picked up. Power does an admirable job tracing Jimmy‘s career, but because he didn‘t have direct access to his subject, he has to fall back on other writers who did. The result is that it feels a bit like he‘s telling you things you already know for the better part of a thousand pages. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
