A young girl delights in her grandmother’s stories of days gone by, sparked by keepsakes and simple questions, Grandma shares marvelous stories of mischief , discovery, and laughter, such as the time she accidentally lost the family buggy. Part of the bestselling Grandma’s Attic series, these charming tales—updated with delightful new illustrations—will whisk you away to another time and place. And you’ll find something worth far more than any treasure or keepsake…timeless lessons of life and faith!

Last summer it rained on every single one of our #camping trips, but it's still one of my favorite things to do.
When I was growing up my dad would read us the Grandma's Attic books on camping trips. I think we found the first book at the Cannon Beach bookstore and it just became a tradition.

2 1/2 months left in the year and I just hit 50% of my reading goal. Why do I have to go to work every day. Damn job cuts into my reading time!

Starting this tonight. I read one of the later books in the series awhile back and enjoyed it so much I started hunting down the rest of the books.

#augustofpages #bookphotochallenge #innocence My grandmother gave this set to me for my birthday long ago. These are books I actually remembered to share with my daughter. These short stories are the sweetest, and give life lessons in a delightful way. I enjoyed them, I loved reading them with her, and my girlie has enjoyed rereading them on her own.
