Ahhh the hilarity. With a not-taking-itself-too-seriously tone that reminded me of Amy Schumer's memoir, I happily followed along with Stadtmiller who, freshly divorced, pursued casual flings with men & recorded it all in her column for the NY Post. As she made new friends in celebs like Aaron Sorkin & Courtney Love, it was easy to want to root her on as she addressed her over-reliance on booze and moved across country to find her place.

⭐️ UNWIFEABLE BECAME UNREADABLE! Now I always finish a book but damn! I expected this to be a funny memoir where I laughed out loud between paragraphs. ABSOLUTELY NOT. If you want a wipe away tears funny read grab “Let‘s Pretend This Never Happened” NOT THIS. For me, this book was an over sexualized failed attempt as sexual humor. Honestly I didn‘t laugh once reading this book and cringed counting down how many pages were left when Id had enough.
