I really liked this book. It was a quick read and really easy to get into. Hastings tells the story in the fashion of nonlinear stories from his Great Depression childhood. It strongly portrays the values and hardships of the time, as well as puts things in perspective for today‘s readers in society. I love comparing today‘s societal struggles to that of the Depression Era. Definitely would recommend :)
