Sarah Schulman is one of my favourite authors; I‘m always excited when she has something new. She‘s in tiptop form here, dark & witty, with deeply flawed characters & a gritty portrait of New York City. I cared immediately about Maggie, post-rehab, desperate just to get through each day & determined to convince her ex-wife that she can be trusted to see their young daughter again. Over 5 days, a mystery is solved & there‘s hope in the world. #LGBT
