I know this must seem ridiculous but this is actually the first time I‘ve opened my book to see what Cam wrote in it last week.

Cam was great, I asked him to sign my book bc nerd 🤓 and now I‘m having a mocha while I work because as I was contemplating ramen for dinner I overheard one of the cooks say they weren‘t busy yet but have reservations all night and remembered that it‘s Valentine‘s Day and I do NOT want to be in a restaurant tyvm (used to wait tables, tonight is a nightmare) #meta

We went to a hockey game together and not only did @brandybear22‘s kid come with us, but hung out with us afterward AND asked if she could read aloud some of the poems from this collection for this week‘s Queer and Trans poetry meeting. My heart. 💜🥰
Cam is coming to class, so it was extra special to share this with them and have these additional lenses of how we each perceived them, how they sound vs/together with how they look, etc.

I didn‘t notice this at first but there‘s a film on the cover that gives it this incredibly silky, almost powdery feel, and I can‘t stop touching it. You can sort of see the line where the coating ends, so it‘s some kind of finishing step. Any pros among us care to enlighten me as to what this is called? Starting this one tonight for next week; Cam‘s coming to class Thursday & has been threatened w/a candy heart shower 😝❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
