I've found myself lately bouncing between hard copy, digital, and audiobooks. (The above image is just a few of the things I'm reading in my phone at the moment)
I've been almost gorging myself on books, I think as an escape from the horrors of the real world right now. Probably not the healthiest way of coping, but certainly far from the worst. 🤷♀️

pickI really liked the YouTube shorts series and I just had to read the book! And it was even better than I anticipated! The characters are really well defined and the plot is fun.
I'd recommend watching the series on YouTube or TikTok first, just so you know what you're getting into. Also I think that way it's way more fun to see the differences in the book and also the surprises.
panI was really curious and excited about this book and I hate to say that it is very disappointing. I wish there we more creative ideas and the book lived up to it's premise which is releasing a demon upon reading it. Just for the novelty of the premise it was worth reading it for me. however, it really underdelivers and there isn't much going for it.

It‘s real then! I‘d heard the rumours. A Penguin vending machine in the main foyer of the station, between the ticket machines and Starbucks.
What I didn‘t know was that profits are shared with the local indie bookshop, which is great!
