I so enjoyed this book! It was perfectly paced and infinitely readable. As soon as I was done, I went out and bought the next book in the series! A fun summer read that kept me guessing until the end.

Disappointing in places but overall a fun escape. Everyone in My Family has Killed Someone vibes.

Reminded me of "Everyone In My Family Has Killed Someone" - unreliable narrator and fourth wall breaks.
The mystery was not only who is killing and why, but also who is the intended victim.
First book in the Vacation Mysteries series.

This book has Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone vibes, with an unreliable narrator who is a mystery author and constantly breaks the 4th wall. We know Eleanor is untrustworthy because she reminds us of that frequently. It was a nice, light, entertaining night listen.
Stumbled upon this and it‘s too good not to share.
I cannot fully express how much I detested this book. Everything about it was ridiculous, from the structure to the conclusion. The constant breaking of the fourth wall wasn‘t clever. It was annoying. The audiobook narrator‘s voices for various characters, and her inability to keep them consistent, didn‘t help. This is apparently going to be a series. I will not be reading more.
Not my style of book but a fun plot with fun characters, and an engaging read.
Book 185 of the year.
This was a fun, comedic mystery. I read for my book club coming up in a couple weeks. A great one for summer! 4⭐️
