I would have liked more substance. It just feel short. It also ended with some questions left to be answered.

This book title: An Improbable Pairing by Gary Dickson is a perfect description for my husband and I. We are ying and yang. However, this book is not about my husband, nor I, because i am not a Countess and we don‘t live in Paris during the 1960‘s. We are similar to this story though —one of high bred culture & one of a simple blue collar raising. This is a love story of one traditional American man, and one headstrong woman. 😉
1960s, young man from America travels to Europe to go to graduate school. Sees beautiful woman on boat and is introduced via a mutual acquaintance. After they part from the trip, he constantly thinks of her and ends up meeting with her again as they start a love affair. This book was fair. The plot was decent but the details of the rooms they were in or the close they were wearing was a bit too much for me.
Almost done this book but I have to say that I‘m getting really tired of hearing how things are decorated and minute details of what people are wearing.
House / land shopping this morning means riding and reading for me.
I finished my first book of 2019!! Thank you @bookishhq and @greenleafbookgr for the opportunity to read this book! This comes out on 1/8/19 😊
